Pre-launch & access
When does ProTradesMax open?
Founding-member access opens in waves through 2026, starting with HVAC and plumbing shops. Waitlist signups get notified the moment their trade opens — no countdown clock, no surprise drop.
What does it cost?
Final pricing is being shaped with the founding cohort. What we'll promise in writing: founding members lock in their rate for life, no surprise hikes, and you can leave anytime with a full data export. Public pricing posts the week we open general access.
What do I get for joining the waitlist?
Founding-member pricing locked in, a direct line to the team, free white-glove migration when you switch over, and first access as features ship. No credit card, no commitment.
Will the customer portal cost extra?
No. Your customers will be able to view bids, accept proposals, and pay invoices without an account or any extra fee.
Data & ownership
Do I own my data?
Yes. You can export everything — accounts, bids, jobs, invoices, photos — as CSV or JSON at any time. If you cancel, we hold your data for 30 days and then delete it.
Can I bring my QuickBooks history?
Yes — the QuickBooks Online integration two-way syncs customers, invoices, payments, and chart-of-accounts mappings. Historical sync is part of the founding-member launch.
Where is my data stored?
US-based Supabase Postgres (managed by Supabase, hosted on AWS in the us-east-1 region). Backups are taken hourly. We're happy to provide a sub-processor list on request.
Features
Does it work for HVAC / plumbing / electrical / [my trade]?
Bids, work orders, dispatch, invoicing, equipment records, and inventory work the same regardless of trade. The defaults and templates are configurable so you can mirror your own pricebook and workflow.
Can I send bids by email?
Yes — branded PDF, customer-facing web view, or both. E-signature is included. We notify you when the customer opens or accepts.
Do you have dispatch / scheduling?
Yes. Map view with live tech locations, drag-and-drop scheduler, route optimization, and conflict detection. Routes recalculate in real time as jobs reorder.
Mobile app
Is there a mobile app for techs?
Yes — iOS and Android, native (built with React Native). Field techs see their daily work orders, capture photos and signatures, log time, mark parts used, and clock in/out. Works offline.
Does the mobile app track location?
Background GPS tracking is available so dispatchers see live tech locations on the map. It's opt-in per company and shows a permanent notification on the device while it's running. Techs can pause tracking outside work hours.
Integrations
What integrations are supported?
QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Google Maps, Resend (email), and a REST API for everything else. Zapier and a public webhook layer are on the roadmap.
Is there an API?
Yes — REST, OAuth 2.0, generous rate limits. API access is included for founding members from day one.
Security
How do you handle security?
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), row-level security at the database, role-based access control, and a documented incident-response process. See the security page for the full picture.
Are you SOC 2 compliant?
SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress. We'll publish the report on the security page once it completes. In the meantime, we can share our security questionnaire with prospective founding members.
